Solidly close to the alcoholic version. Highly recommend.
The overall flavour is very similar and when chilled is even better. Granted it does have a bit of extra sweetness which means you likely won't want more than four at a time.Seeing some reviews I was apprehensive it would be like the real thing but if you're in doubt go for it. It's very good and the closest to the real thing non alcoholic beverage I've had. Suberb for a hot evening and BBQ.

Best beer.
Great beer! Good to drink on a sunny afternoon in the garden! Super clean taste with a hint of citrus and coriander.

A Viable Alternative
I've been dabbling with low and zero alcohol beers for a while and would personally rate this as one of the better ones I've found so far... I think it's fair to say you need to have tried the alcoholic version to "get" what this is about... If you've not tried wheat beers before then you might struggle with this compared to some of the big name 0% lagers. Served cold from the fridge Hoegaarden 0.0 offers a full flavour to the pallet, smooth and well rounded with a sweetish finish. It does contain sugar but even so at 90 calories per 330ml can it does offer the dieter an alternative to a "guard lowering" alcoholic drink.

Very sweet tasting
Thought I would give this beer a try, much sweeter than the alcohol version so I couldn't drink more than one and best saved for a hot summers day and chilled rather than an everyday beer

Major Improvement to awful beer!!!!!
Update! Still the worst zero alcohol beer but it can be improved by simply adding lemon juice!! Because it’s so horribly sweet, the lemon juice cuts the sickly taste and makes this beer enjoyable to drink!! Just add around 15-20mls per 330cls of unsweetened lemon juice to make the transformation! You can experiment to suit your palate. Why couldn’t Hoegarden do this???

It's Unique Taste
This one of the nicest 0% alcohol lagers I've tasted, quite sweet but a little drop of lemon juice either from a lemon or bottled concentrated lemon juice. Not as good as Budweiser Prohibition, but the price of it has shot up, so won't be buying anymore until the price drops. Do check the number of calories in these alcohol free lager, some have more calories than alcoholic beer. Lowest I've tried Veltins Pilsner at just 63 k/calls a bottle, but again very expensive both on Amazon and elsewhere. My local pub charges £3.60 a bottle, so may as well buy it on Amazon<. Case of 12 £32.99 ) 500mls or 12x 330mls is £20.99 here.
