Best vegan mince
Has a great taste and very ease to use. Best vegan mince I have tried. Mince has nice texture and is good quality for what you pay for. Will be buying this any times as it can go in most meals.

Lacks the "funky" taste found with soya mince!
I have been really impressed by this. The texture when it's rehydrated is more agreeable to me too, it's less chewy than soya. The taste of pea/bean protein is mild and kind of sweet when compared to soya mince (which doesn't have the nicest aftertaste if it's not well masked by a sauce). It's altogether a nicer vegetable protein than soya, and not vastly more expensive. It's got the kind of mild and inoffensive flavour and texture you find with Quorn mince which makes it so much better for more delicate flavoured dishes. It's made a lovely vegan cottage pie.The added bonus of having it as a dehydrated store cupboard item is great.Full marks to this!

Great alternative
I wasn't sure of this at first as it's dried and I've always used fresh or frozen "mince" but it's actually quite nice. I rehydrate it in cooled stock before cooking for extra flavourUnfortunately my child developed an allergy to pea protein now so cannot have again, but was nice while we could have it 😊

Good texture and flexible to use.
I really like this. It needs soaking and I usually soak it either in a veggy bouillon or with miso in the water. Either way doesn't have flavour in itself but the texture is excellent, and it's good to have something other than soya for protein. However, the 'mince' is quite large and not really what I would call mince, but it does work well in dishes in dishes like a no-beef stews

Good vegan protein
Small chunks rather than mince, and they do take some time to rehydrate. We find them best if put in vegetable stock early in the day then left in the fridge to rehydrate for an evening meal. However, I like these a lot. They absorb other flavours well and have a mild flavour of their own which is far nicer than soy. Ideal for anyone wanting a meat alternative that isn't soy, gluten, or mycoprotein. The packet is small and doesn't seem great value for money at first glance. But as one bag produces a large amount of food and is easy to store without needing refrigeration, it's actually good value.

Great Meat Substitute
A great substitute for people who have an allergy to soya bean and quorn mince. I just add a small handful to my vegetables, rice noodles and Herbs de Provence whilst simmering. A packet lasts me 3 weeks so worth every penny. Quick delivery too. 100% recommend seller and product.

Useful & inexpensive cupboard staple for Veggies
This is useful to keep as a cupboard staple as it’s easy to store. It doesn’t have any particular taste so it can be added to curries, soups & stews as a source of protein.

Great if you have a soy allergy
I found after a few years I’m really sensitive to the amount of soy I was eating. This is a delicious soy-free meat sub that tastes sooo good and is versatile you can put in salads, chillies, bolognaise and is just very easy and quick.
