I have been using these vests for 25 years.Well made, rugged and reliable.This vest has more pockets than a pool table, very easy to conceal things too!Great piece of kit, well worth buying.

I just got this vest and I'm pretty impressed. There are more pockets in it than I think I could use. I purchased this vest for work. I am a telecom field tech in an arid region in the US. During the summer it's not feasable to wear more than a T-shirt while working. I found that my tool belt was too cumbersome especially in the tight spaces I find myself working in. Last year I purchased a rayon "fishing" vest from a local sporting goods store and it fell apart within a week of using it. I found this surfing around Amazon and the reviews got me to try it out. I can already tell it's much more sturdy than the fishing vest I got last year. There are about three times as many pockets too! The true test will be when I load it up with tools and supplies and take it into the field. I'll post another review after a few months of use.My only issue with it so far is the size. I normally wear XL shirts. Both in T-shirt size and button-up shirts. I put this one on over an XL T-shirt just out of the box and it's HUGE on me. Maybe it will shrink after washing it...

Pockets, pockets, and hey look... more pockets. This vest has no shortage of cargo space, fits nicely and looks sharp. Well worth the coin.

I got this vest primarily to keep all of my tech gear handy when I to volunteer audio/video production work. I was looking for a vest that didnt ride up around my mid section as many of these type of vest do for me. The reason for this is that I have a very long trunk and shorter legs. As a result I end up shopping in the Big an Tall section even though I am only 5' 10". I took a chance and it paid off.I will now probably be getting the same type of vest in a different color than black for when I am out with my family.great vest and it fits great. Rothco makes a concealed carry vest that is based on this same design that will soon find its way into my closet.

There is no better vest! Have used it for over a decade in West Africa. Still in PERFECT condition. They run VERY large but do have side pulls which can tighten it up if need be. Great vest. Have bought several now as gifts...

Extremely disappointed. The inside pockets fastened by velcro have torn away on both sides of vest making it impossible to use. Were used for credit cards and cash - now not safe - won't hold. Vest is falling apart. Have had many vests over the years - never had this problem.Joanne Kennedy

I have a small pack that houses my EDC gear but I switch to something more efficient in cooler/colder months. My old vest (a Rothco) lasted for almost 20 years. Finally replaced it. These things wear like iron and there are enough pockets to put an entire EDC pack's worth into it. I originally sewed up a prototype of what I needed, and Rothco came closest by design. The original one had a concealed carry pocket (which I could easily add) but I don't think you could do any better for a vest to carry a whole lot of gear than these. I'd love to help them design one with my intended upgrades!
