Nice economical Nitrogen regulator
This was a nice find! The machining, finish, gauges, and included hose seem to be of good quality and are very nice looking. The low pressure regulator adjustment action was nice and smooth. I will not need to use this regulator on a daily basis but it looks like it is durable and built to last. I bought this regulator to attach to a N2 (nitrogen) gas cylinder specifically for use in testing an auto A/C system for leaks but it will come in handy for a number of different needs like filling the tires of our vehicles with nitrogen instead of regular air. Unfortunately, I didn't realize the thread on my A/C manifold gauge set for the yellow vacuum/charge hose has a 1/2" ACME thread and the hose that is included with this regulator is a 1/4" swage thread. This was my fault for not checking the threads before I purchased the regulator. Anyways, with adapters it all worked out and I am happy with this purchase.

Holds >650 PSI but got 2 and both had valves cracked in same spot
*** 2 stars taken off because I bought 2 and both has the right pressure gauge cracked per my photos. Amazon is taking them back no issues, but this is for sure frustrating and I'm hoping the third one I get doesn't have this issue. They're packaged very well so I think it's just bad QC at the factory.** Update: third gauge set received, this time both gauges had cracked window edges. I'm just going to keep one and live with it for the price...** Update 2: customer service reached out promptly to remediate my experience, and assured me they're looking into the manufacturing problem. Giving 1 star back for great customer service.---------I'm reviewing the 800 PSI version, which the product description says has a max output of 700psi. I can't speak to the 600 PSI version. For HVAC pressure test, I need to test between 550-600 PSI, so I bought the 800PSI version. In my preliminary quick test, the pressure release valve opens right at 700 PSI, and closes again somewhere between 630-650 PSI (see photos). This is more than enough for what I need, but I believe you can take off the pressure relief valve and adjust it higher if needed.Accuracy wise, the gauge reads almost exactly what my Yellow Jacket gauge reads, so no issues there.I used a drop of HVAC oil before inserting the knob, which is pressure rated. Worked great and didn't have issues with turning the knob all the way to 700 PSI and beyond. The knob can definitely go further so no issues there.Overall incredible value for the money, minus the cracked gauges QC issues.

Leaks, not accurate, full pressure failure, just garbage.
I don't know if maybe I got a defective unit or if they are all this bad but not only did this thing leak when I attempted to pressure test an AC system it failed and somehow shot full tank pressure into the unit I was working on. Not great. The adjustment knob all at once did not want to turn and it was not a quarter of the way in, then boom full tank pressure. So terrible accuracy too.

Outlet is actually 1/8" MNPT, NOT 1/4"
I bought this as a spare, and when I went to use it (needed it), I didn't have any fittings for the outlet. My understanding is that these fittings are measured by the nominal inside diameter, and the one I received is 1/8", not 1/4". Not only do I need to buy an adapter to make it work, the airflow is reduced. This inner diameter is actually smaller than the standard fittings.I use it to not only inflate kart tires, but to seat the beads, where I need the airflow. In fact, I use the larger diameter "V" fittings to get increased flow. This regulator will decrease the flow even below the standard fittings. The male outlet is itself a fitting that is screwed into the body, and appears to have the right size thread (1/4" FNPT - though I can't tell whether regular or NPT with it fully screwed in). I can't for the life of me get it to break free to remove to put in a large adapter. I can't get a good grip for it to stay in the vice with the extreme amount of force I'm applying. I guess I'm stuck with 1/8... :(I was actually confused about the sizing, since this was supposed to be 1/4". I had to go back and check all the other fittings and hoses as well as NPT sizing documentation to confirm all the others were indeed 1/4", and it was this regulator that was mislabeled....
