The package shows that these are intended to soothe sore throats. I don't often have a sore throat, but sometimes I do have a cough that starts when I lie down at night. The Throat Coat Lemon Ginger Echinacea drops calm my cough quickly and effectively. And they taste good, too. These Throat Coat drops seem overpriced and expensive to me, but I like them much better than other cough drops I have tried; I'm willing to pay more to have them.

One problem with this product - it tastes so good - like a great hard candy - it's almost addictive. It does soothe the throat - but don't let the taste get to you or you'll likely take too many.
