Well made, Look very nice, sounds good when tuned right ( DADD ) for now. I am a beginner so it should sound real good for a better player. A price that I could afford. I am 76 and always wanted to play one, I was about 5 or 6 years old when I heard the dulcimer for the first time. So better late than never : )

My husband talked me into getting a dulcimer because the ukelele I received for Christmas was difficult for me to wrap my fingers around to hold down the strings. I was able to play a song the first time (I have never played a musical instrument) on the mountain dulcimer.The sound is lovely and there are hundreds of videos out there to learn from. It was delivered fast and in excellent shape. I would recommend buying extra dulcimer strings in case you break one like I did when tuning. It wasn't bad replacing a string at all. I am very happy with my purchase.

An attractive decent lower cost instrument. Good fretting and action. If the spruce (?) soundboard were thicker, I believe a better more robust sound would result. Not a bad beginner instrument overall.

A beautiful instrument, very light weight, well constructed with a nice sound. A great learning instrument and I'm working on it.

This is a great instrument.... especially for the price! I recieved my dulcimer just within a week of ordering it. It came in gret condition, and the instrument itself has a nice, strong sound!

Instrument is beautiful, but didn't come with the drawstring bag or owners manual.

Substandered , quality , two strings mounted from the support end , has , had , guitar strings instead of dulcimer strings. Dont buy it , tried to tune it strings snapped , broke..
