It does it’s job, holds mousee’s in place, great for multi layer cakes, when using creams, and ganaches, very durable, and holds the cakes shape very well.

I don't use these for cakes. So as far as a review for how they do with cakes this is not that. I use these cake collars in my plant hobby, I make my own D Shaped moss poles for my tropical climbing plants to grow on, and for this use, they are exactly what I wanted. A lot of folks buy sheets of acetate to do this, and the roll is so much more convenient, and a better bang for your buck. And the fact that they come in different widths, really allows me to make Moss poles of all sizes. I find the thickness to be great as well for this use. It is very sturdy, and really helps to give your pole even more support without needing a stake to stabilize until you start adding extensions and making the poles over 4ft. It's very clear, and very easy to clean with Isopropyl Alcohol without compromising the sheet. My only complaint is I have seen cheaper rolls from other brands on this platform, around $4 cheaper for the exact same size and everything. But I am extremely happy with my purchase and that it fully exceeded my expectations for my use of it. So I'm sharing my secret now, or cheaper hack I guess, if there are any bakers on here that are also plant collectors.

I used this cake collar when I made a chocolate raspberry mousse cake! It turned out fantastic and using the collar made it look perfect. It was the first time I had ever used a cake collar and was very skeptical about how well it would work. But it worked better than I could have imagined. I just wish I had a picture to share of the final product! Also, it was very easy to use.
