I received these yesterday and immediately took one of the saffron capsules. I was very happy that the capsules are truly small and easy to swallow. It will take some time before I will know whether it improves my mood. I am hopeful to get that benefit!

After years of waking up in middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep I finally found something that I can go back to sleep! Been taking them for about 6 months and will continue to do so. My wife finds they help her sleep better as well.

Saw a Youtube video (I think from Thomas DeLauer) that talked about they did a study on saffron for mood and sleep and how this worked with all the people in the study.So I decided to give it a try.I take about 5mg of melatonin (it doesnt affect me in a bad way) but if you're looking for sleep "aid" and maybe you dont like how melatonin affects you, try a lower dose, maybe 1mg.But I take melatonin, passion flower, Valarian root (you can take these 2 as capsules or tea and or tincture of course)But I found myself waking up mid way and having a hard time going back to sleep.FIRST time trying saffron I slept through the night.So now I take saffron in midday then again before going to bed. Just one capsule.

I did not realized that pure saffron is a very expensive herbal, on gram price starts from $5Judging after the amount of saffron in this bottle (20 gram), the price somehow does not match. Starting to doubt if this is a good qualitiy saffron

really helps; Andrew Huberman, neuroscientist talked about saffron to help with low emotion, see his YouTube videos. Thought it might be better than the pharmaceuticals being suggested. These have worked for me, and no side effects.
