Great alternative. Order these just in case the phone case is ordered did not have a lanyard with it. Turns out it did, so now I have extra lanyard as back up.

I like this starp a lot and will order again. I needed to replace the my phone case came with, it broke, and I like this one better. I like the tightening feature for when I wear it on my wrist.

Looks:Not bad, I was just disappointed in the green color. It looks more sage gray-green, at least compared to my dark green phone case. I love the cloud blue though so I returned and got a different combo instead. I will say the skinny strap that attaches to the phone gets dirty pretty quickly, so get the darker colors if that bothers you. These reasons are why I docked a star.Use:Great for traveling especially if you're walking around a lot with the GPS going! I imagine it'll also come in handy on boats, at amusement parks--anywhere you'd be afraid to drop your phone. Great for when you have no pockets and don't wanna bring a bag. I'm more of a phone/wallet/keys in hand girl so I use it all the time now.The clip comes in handy if you wanna put your phone in your pocket and clip it around your belt loop! I wasn't sure I'd use that feature but it did provide some peace of mind.The tightening thing isn't perfect--could stay tighter longer, but it only loosens badly if I'm doing something like walking a dog and the phone moves around a lot. It stays in place if you just have your phone in your hand. But having some kind of slider is a must.

I am happy with my purchase. It is sturdy and well-made—just the right lanyard for my smartphone and earbuds. I am not worried about the string breaking, as it is adjustable and can fit securely on my wrist.

Very handy and comfortable!

These phone lanyards are perfect for boat days or anytime you’re somewhere you could possibly drop your phone and lose it forever! I’ve dropped my phone at the bottom of the lake a few times because it slipped out of my hand. These are comfortable to wear around your wrist and when you tighten it to fit, it is very secure. It’s also nice when I’m just walking in my neighborhood and don’t have a purse or pockets — it’s like a little wristlet. 10/10 recommend!
